On 7th July ,2022 Prime minister launched a project to address all forms of malnutrition in Uganda.
The 48 months National information platforms for nutrition (NIPN phase 11) project will be implemented under the office of Prime Minister.
While launching the project at OPM yesterday, Nabbanja lauded European Union and other partners for their effort towards addressing all forms of malnutrition in Uganda.
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the reduction of under nutrition and all forms of malnutrition in Uganda inline with SDG 2.2 and 2030 agenda.
The over 3 million$ project is targeting children under 5 years of age, school aged children , adolescents , women of reproductive age, pregnant and lactating women.
The launch was among others attended by Ministers, MPs, heads of government agencies , District representatives and other partners.
