Lutgard is a result oriented and high energy professional with a 9 year experience in both clinical and community nutrition, working with the most vulnerable communities. She is a nutritionist, Public Health author and nutrition blogger with a long and varied career in the nutrition sector with an experience in research who takes pride in being a valuable team player.

She has been a member of NSU since 2012 and has participated in many of the activities of the society since joining it. In 2023, she was awarded as the 2nd Runner up for Outstanding Nutrition Therapist 2022 in the Nutrition Champion Awards that was organised by the society.
